The Podcast is LIVE!
Did you know we were on the Loosely Enlightened Podcast?
Let me tell you (another!) story.
Back in May, Monique Peck (co-founder of The Expansion Project, author of The How, and soul-family sister) and I went to Calgary on a whirlwind trip where we launched Advanced Consciousness Therapy, our new therapeutic modality that normalizes energy and consciousness work in the conversation about mental health and wellness.
While we were away, we continued our (now-virtual) morning meeting with our spouses, Texas and Faizan.
Over the days, as Monique and I galavanted and walked around in flow and had all these incredible opportunities to meet people and notice synchronicities, we both noticed the absence of our guys.
So we decided we needed to plan a trip with all four of us, sooner rather than later.
During those days away, we had been inivited to an informal group breakfast with the BC Chapter of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association, and had a great time chatting with therapists from around BC as the conference buzz kicked off. One of those conversations led to a casual invitation to speak in Mission, BC which we gobbled up excitedly.
So when we got back to the Shuswap, a Vancouver trip was planned, where the four of us would have a chance to travel together to present our model and how it applies to therapist burnout, an opportunity to deliver some continuing education to therapists who were hungry for a fresh look at an old problem.
We got a trip for the four of us!
In the meantime, several months ago, one of our team members (Melissa Watson) had reached out to a podcaster named Kid Carson. They had been going back and forth for a few emails, and she had kind of let it go as it didn't look like it was going anywhere.
Then, out of nowhere, he reached out to her, telling her he'd been "watching our videos" and was intrigued in the message we were bringing. Melissa worked tirelessly behind the scenes to set up an opportunity for us to be on The Loosely Enlightened Podcast with Kid Carson the same weekend we'd been invited to speak at the other thing.
And these are the stories I have been forgetting to tell.
The stories of Melissa and Victory and Cori and Dr. Stacy - these folks that I get to see every day at our Headquarters in Salmon Arm, BC, but you only meet once in a while if we happen to do a Practitioner Profile on them.
And there are others I haven't named yet who raised their hands to be featured in Monique's book, who have been following and supporting and cheering for us, working quietly behind the scenes with good ideas and helpful feedback and deep presence that fuels us forward.
This growing team is the backbone of The Expansion Project, and earlier this week, a segment of this team took a big, bold step together as each person committed to holding their piece of the vision.
So as you watch the podcast and listen to Texas and me, I wanted to remind you that behind the two of us stand a strong and caring Wolf Pack.
There is no way we would be at this point in our journey without them.
If you are reading this, and if you've been following us for the past two years (or longer!) you may see yourself as part of this Wolf Pack, and we want you to know that even though your stories may not get told here, we feel your love and we deeply value your presence.
Now, back to the podcast.
Most people who read this newsletter never click on the videos.
Today, I ask you to click and watch (or at least listen - you may not get access to the video if you don't have Spotify - not sure quite how the tech works!).
It's long, over an hour, but if you have been interested in consciousness work and are looking for a fresh new perspective, it's worth it.
That said, you are a Sovereign Being, and get to make the choices that are right for you - that 's one of the foundational tenants of our work. So no sales-y pressure!! But if you feel even the slightest nudge of curiosity and want a few laughs with us, click play on the video above.
I would love to hear what you think (you can let me know by replying to this email!)
We think of you, we see you, and we are so grateful for your presence and support as we move this work forward.
Yours in Growing-The-Pack,
Dr. Saira
