Her professional journey has included leading intensive psychotherapy groups at the Grey Nuns Hospital in Edmonton, supervising psychiatric residents, and teaching advanced group therapy techniques. She trained in psychodynamics and group psychotherapy at Dalhousie University and completed her psychiatric residency at the University of Saskatchewan. Her practice has always been grounded in trauma-informed and culturally responsive care, with a focus on strengthening both individuals and the systems that support them.
What sets Dr. Stacy apart is her personal and professional commitment to walking the talk of consciousness-based healing. She is known for her warmth, humour, and ability to help clients move beyond “stuckness” through creative approaches that draw on body, movement, and expression as much as dialogue.
Her passion is supporting people navigating sadness, relationship struggles, caregiving, addiction, and spiritual exploration, and she brings both clinical rigor and playfulness to this work.
For Dr. Stacy, Advanced Consciousness Therapy isn’t just a technique—it’s an invitation. “All you have to do is show up as who you are, where you are,” she explains. “There’s no right or wrong way to begin. This work is for everyone.”
